The Joint i-SAIRAS & iSpaRo Conference 2026 will take place at the Confex conference centre in Cologne, Germany, from 03–06 November 2026.
Confex is the new Conference and Exhibition Centre in Cologne, located within the Koelnmesse exhibition grounds and close to the city centre. It provides an ideal venue for bringing together the international space technology community from industry, science and government.

By Train
Travelling by train is a fast, eco-friendly and convenient way to reach the Koelnmesse Confex venue.
S-Bahn (Local Train)
- Take the S19 or RE6 from Cologne Bonn Airport (station below Terminal 2).
- Travel to Köln Messe / Deutz station (approx. 15–20 minutes).
- The venue is about a 5-minute walk from the station.
Deutsche Bahn (Regional & Long-Distance Trains)
Regional and long-distance trains also serve the Köln Messe / Deutz station. Check schedules via the Deutsche Bahn website or the DB Navigator app.
From Frankfurt Airport
- Follow signs to the Frankfurt Airport Fernbahnhof.
- Take an ICE train to Köln Hbf (Cologne Central Station).
- Travel time: approx. 55–60 minutes.
From Düsseldorf Airport

By Taxi or Rideshare
Taxis and rideshare services (Uber, Bolt, etc.) are readily available.
- Taxis are located outside both airport terminals.
- Travel time: approximately 15–20 minutes depending on traffic.
- Rideshare pick-up zones are located outside the terminals.
By Bus
Airport Express Bus (SB60)
- Runs from Cologne Bonn Airport to Köln Hauptbahnhof.
- From there take a short train ride to Köln Messe / Deutz.
- Total travel time: approx. 30–40 minutes.
Parking
Cologne is connected to the European motorway network via the motorway ring surrounding the city. Follow the signs directing you to the Koelnmesse parking areas for visitors and exhibitors.
